📅 Booking & scheduling

Not at all. Most of our clients are out during their clean. Just provide your entry instructions when booking — key code, lockbox location, or key with a neighbour — and we handle everything securely while you're away. We lock up on exit.
Yes. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly plans. You'll get the same cleaner every visit, and regular clients receive a 10% loyalty discount after their third booking — applied automatically, no codes needed. See our recurring cleaning page for details.
At least 48 hours' notice is ideal for most services. For move-out cleans — especially if you have a fixed landlord inspection date — book as early as possible to secure your preferred time slot. We do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows.

💰 Pricing & payment

Shiny Places charges from $45/hr for regular cleaning, $55/hr for deep cleaning, and $60/hr for move-in/out cleans. Airbnb and commercial cleaning is custom-quoted based on property size and frequency. Most standard homes take 2–4 hours. We always confirm the total estimated time and cost before we start. All prices + GST; all supplies included.
None. Our pricing is transparent — the hourly rate covers cleaning, all eco-friendly supplies, and equipment. GST is added at checkout. We'll always give you a time estimate and confirm scope before starting so there are no surprises on your invoice.
After your third completed booking with us, every subsequent clean is automatically 10% off. No loyalty cards, no coupon codes — it's applied directly to your invoice. Our way of saying thank you for trusting us with your home.

🧹 What's included

Yes — we bring everything. Our team arrives fully equipped with all eco-friendly products and equipment. You don't need to provide a thing — no mops, no sprays, no vacuum. Just let us in and we'll take care of the rest.
Our move-out clean covers everything inside appliances (oven, fridge, microwave), all cupboards and drawers, full bathroom sanitation including grout scrubbing, baseboards, window sills and tracks, all light switches and outlets, and floors vacuumed and mopped throughout. It's designed to meet or exceed any landlord inspection standard. See the full checklist on our move-in/out page.
A regular clean maintains a home that's already in good shape — kitchen surfaces, bathrooms, floors, dusting, bins. A deep clean goes further: inside appliances, inside cupboards, behind furniture, grout scrubbing, baseboards, ceiling fans, vents. We recommend starting with a deep clean for first-time clients so regular cleans can maintain the standard.

Absolutely. Every Shiny Places team member passes a full criminal background check before their first booking — no exceptions. Your home's security is never taken lightly. You'll know who's coming before they arrive.
Yes — for recurring clients, we pair you with the same cleaner every visit. They'll learn your home, your preferences, and what matters to you. If your regular cleaner is ever unavailable, we'll always notify you in advance and send someone equally vetted.

🌿 Products & safety

Yes — we only use eco-friendly, plant-based, non-toxic products. Every product in our kit is completely safe for children, pets, and all home surfaces. We never use harsh chemicals. If you have a specific sensitivity or allergy, let us know when booking and we'll accommodate.
We bring all our own products as standard — it's included in the price. If you have a specific product you'd like us to use on a particular surface (for example, a special floor cleaner), just let us know at booking and we're happy to accommodate within reason.
